What is a Wednesday like with Emmaus Youth Ministries?
Yes, all three youth groups meet at the same time on Wednesdays. But each group is in their own space, with their own leaders, and their own lessons. Middle school and high school go through the same teaching series, but the lessons and discussions are tailored to the age groups. A typical Wednesday night has a game, whole-group lesson, small group discussion, and time for connection. Our youth groups are open to all students.
Are there other opportunities to connect?
In addition to Wednesday night youth group, we will have various connection events, service opportunities, and worship nights. Our high schoolers have an annual spring retreat, and will be serving in South Africa in 2025. Our leaders also love to take students out for coffee or ice cream, and go cheer students on at their various extra curricular activities.
Our Current Teaching Series
Join us October 2-October 23 for our second series of the semester: Beyond Belief– a series on doubt and questions.
In this four-week series from the book of Exodus, we’ll explore what the story of Moses and the Israelites can help us discover about doubt and belief. We’ll talk about how, when you doubt yourself, God can still use you. And we’ll see how, when you doubt God, it’s okay to ask questions because God still offers guidance and always takes care of you.
