Ember Spring Retreat

Ember High School Ministries is heading to Camp Alta for our 2024 retreat. We will spend time in rich discussions, connection with one another, and quiet time with God. We will be examining our stresses and anxieties, and ultimately residing in our hope in Christ.   All high school students are invited to join us April 5-7, 2024 for this annual retreat. Ignite Weekend

Ignite students (6th-8th grade) are invited to join us for a three day event while we play games, connect, worship, and discuss what it means to be a leader. This event does not include and overnight stay. Students will be dropped off and picked up at set times.

Ash Wednesday Gathering

Our annual gathering marking the beginning of Lent – a 40 day season of preparation for Easter. This gathering focuses on the value of reflection on our need for rescue. Participants will be given the opportunity to receive the mark of the cross, in ashes, on their forehead, which is the traditional Christian practice on Ash Wednesday.

The Bible For Busy People

This class is put on by Jessup University, and taught by Dr. Max Botner. Anyone is welcome to sign up. The Bible is the word of God for the people of God. And yet, Christians often struggle to make sense of the book. We may have memorized some verses here or there, or read one of the hottest devotionals, but how do we become wise interpreters of the Bible ourselves? The answer is that it takes practice! Our Lament

Tuesday, December 19 at 7p, we will be creating some space to lament at the theater. Lament is a Christian response of grief to suffering, injustice, and pain in the world, past or present. All are welcome to join us for about an hour as we engage in this practice together.
