On Sunday, October 18th, we are having the Membership Information Lunch. Please join us at the Cottage, 553 F Street) at 12:00p for lunch and to learn more about our community and what membership means at Emmaus.
Young Families Fall Play Date
Join us at the theater on October 14 for bagels, coffee, and a chance to meet other families with little ones. Come by and drop in from 9a-11a. We will be at the theater upstairs in the Loft. No need to RSVP.
Women’s Community Chili & Axes
Join the women of Emmaus as we kick off fall with chili and axes! We’ll gather at the Wallace/Reagan property in rural Lincoln on October 4 at 4:00 p.m. for our highly competitive chili cook-off and equally competitive axe-throwing competition. There will be prizes—and, of course, bragging rights! Invite a friend and join us for a fun evening together.
New to Emmaus
Are you new or kind of new to Emmaus? Do you want to know more about Emmaus? We would love for you to come join us in an informal get together with the pastoral staff and get to know you better. We will be meeting at the Cottage, 553 F Street on September 27th after the 11a gathering, around 12:30. We hope you can join us!
“Meet the Youth Director” Reception
The whole church is invited to join us on Tuesday September 22 for an open house reception to meet our new youth director! We’ll have desserts, refreshments, and time to meet Emily and her husband Gavin.
All Church Picnic
Come enjoy lunch in the country! We’ll gather on September 20 at 1:00 p.m., in northern rural Lincoln, following the 11:00 a.m. gathering. Just bring a blanket or lawn chairs—we’ll provide lunch and Leatherby’s ice cream for dessert! This is an informal time to connect with others in our community. Circle of Women Support Group
Do you feel responsible for fixing everyone else’s problems? Are you impacted by someone else’s addiction? Do you worry about someone with a problem with drugs, alcohol or another addiction? You are not alone and you do not have to carry the weight by yourself. Join us for a safe, supportive, and confidential 12-step information session specifically for women.
Youth Back to School Night
Families with incoming 4th-12th graders are invited to join us at the Carlile Property in Penryn for a night of games, BBQ, and connections. This is a time for students and parents to engage in community before the business of the school years begin. Let’s start this fall strong! Whole families are welcome!
High School Bible Study
Incoming 9th graders – recent high school grads are invited to join us on Tuesdays in July as we study scripture and learn about trust and surrender. We’ll meet at 5:30pm at Joel’s house in Rocklin. All are welcome!
