Ember Homecoming

All high schoolers are our invited to our third annual Ember Homecoming. Join us from 6:30p-9:00p at the Emmaus theater. We spend the night eating dinner and dancing to some music. This is a formal event.

McBean Pool Day

Emmaus is gathering at the McBean pool Sunday, August 21 from 1p-4p. You can bring your own lunch. There will be swimming, games, popsicles, and time to hang out with our community. There is no entry fee for this event.

Youth Ministry Back to School BBQ

All incoming 4th-12th graders, and their families, are invited to the Carliles’ property on Sunday 08.07 for our Back to School BBQ. We’ll spend the evening out there from 5:30p-7:30p. You’ll hear from Courtney and Leah on the vision for each group heading into the fall semester.  Bring your lawn chairs and come ready to learn more about your students’ ministry.  We will provide burgers, hotdogs, and all the fixings!

Way of Life: Summer Series

Several years ago we created catechism series that walk through the foundations of what we believe. We called it ‘Way of Life’, and these groups were some of the most effective community and teaching groups we have gone through.  This summer, we are offering an 8-week series on the Apostles’ Creed. Ignite Game Night

All Ignite (6th-8th grade) students are invited to the Hornaceks’ house for a game night. We’ll send out the address before the event.

Movie + Ice Cream Night

Our middle and high school students will be at the church 7p-9p eating ice cream and watching a movie on the big screen. This is a great event to invite a friend!

Emmaus Family Camping Trip

At an elevation of 3,000 feet, the lake is an ideal. Modern RV and trailer sites, hot showers, attractive tent sites and RV sanitary dump stations are all available at Scotts Flat Lake Recreation Area. Come hang out and get connected with your community for a few days in the woods (June 17-19). Broomball Night

Emmaus is joining with several other local youth groups for this event. All Ignite and Ember students are invited to participate.  If you haven’t been to our Broomball night before… think hockey with tennis shoes, a plastic broom, multiple balls, and 30+ players. It is a lot of slipping, sliding, fun, and competitiveness.  Everyone participating in the game needs to be at Skatetown Ice Arena by 6:45p on June 15.
